Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle and High School ScienceTeacher to inspire and educate middle and high school students through Science, including Chemistry and Biology. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative learning technology and creative teaching methods.
- Deliver engaging instruction across subjects such as mathematics and science tailored to middle and high school learners.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and individualized academic advising.
- Foster a positive classroom environment by managing behavior effectively and employing classroom management strategies that promote respect and collaboration.
- Mentor students academically and socially, providing guidance on childhood development, literacy education, and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum development initiatives, integrate AP style standards, and enhance library services for research projects.
- Support students with special education needs or those requiring additional tutoring or behavioral management strategies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to teaching physical education, Montessori methods, or other specialized educational approaches such as Chicago Manual of Style or working with children.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience at the middle or high school level is required; private school experience is highly valued.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching math subjects including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and related fields.
- Proven ability to develop lesson plans that incorporate learning technology and innovative instructional techniques.
- Strong background in curriculum development, copy editing, proofreading, and writing skills for educational content.
- Experience mentoring students through academic advising or extracurricular activities such as sports coaching or public speaking engagements.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and experience preparing students for exams is preferred.

Pay: $31,920.00 - $36,960.00 per year
