Job Overview
We are seeking a responsible, outgoing, and self-motivated Patient Engagement Specialist to join our growing team. This role combines administrative support with a strong focus on patient communication and engagement. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced remote environment.
This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and comfort working across multiple software systems. Candidates must have a quiet dedicated workspace, reliable internet connection, and the ability to consistently manage phone calls and patient communication throughout the day.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providing professional and compassionate support
- Answer inbound and make outbound patient calls in a high-volume call queue environment
- Assist patients with remote monitoring device setup, troubleshooting, and connectivity issues
- Communicate effectively with medical clinics regarding patient care coordination and follow-up needs
- Perform accurate medical data entry across multiple software systems and EHR platforms
- Enroll existing patients into additional monitoring programs and treatment services
- Identify and contact patients regarding missed transmissions or connectivity concerns
- Assist with medical billing tasks and insurance-related documentation as needed
- Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records
- Escalate patient concerns appropriately and ensure timely resolution
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and patient experience
- Attend weekly team meetings and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and communication
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times
- Deliver a positive, supportive, and patient-focused experience with every interaction
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, or similar role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and remain self-driven
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a high-paced environment
- Comfortable discussing additional company services with patients
- Medical billing knowledge preferred
- High school diploma or Equivalent

- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Administrative Support experience required
