Vermont Life Safety started over twenty-five years ago with one technician, the first technician in the state to have all three licenses, fire, sprinkler, and suppression. Since then, we have grown to have technicians of all skill levels and specialties in two offices, one in Bolton, Vermont, and the other in Claremont, New Hampshire. We strive to be the only place our customers need to call for their life safety needs, from repairs, inspections, and installations.
We are currently looking to hire a Vermont State TQP Licensed Fire Alarm Technician with at least 4 years of experience to perform state inspections, repairs, and installing fire alarm systems, out of our Bolton office. You will be working with a combination of trade apprentices and Fire Alarm Technicians to perform the installation and/or repair of commercial fire alarm systems and combination fire alarm/security systems. You will be expected to perform the installation, repair, or inspection of any systems to currently adopted state fire and building code standards.
You will be expected to do the following during the average working day:
· Stand/Walk for up to 8 hours at a time. Also be able to reliably carry up to 50lb of equipment and/or materials while on the jobsite.
· Be able to reliably climb and/or crawl as needed to perform installations.
· Be able to read, draw, or modify electrical wiring plans for installation.
· Be able to act independently during the installation process on jobsites.
· Use hand and power tools appropriate to the task responsibly, while maintaining jobsite safety standards.
· Keep a clean and organized work truck.

You must have a clean driving record.
You must have a Vermont Fire Alarm TQP License or four years of experience.

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
