***CDL Class A is REQUIRED to be considered for this position***
**VALID CDL-A as well as a clean driving record for the last 3 years (no suspensions)**
Overview
· You will be driving short distances as well as long distances within the state of Illinois.
· You will be driving into subdivisions that have roads paved already and more that do not have paved roads.
· You might have to turn around in tight spots and get creative with how to turn around sometimes.
· You must be careful sometimes when unloading and reloading your trailers at the job sites.
Responsibilities
· As an operator, you have 3 main responsibilities:
o Backfilling
o Re-backfilling
o Rough Grades
· Other things that you may be assigned to do:
o Erosion control
· Loading/moving dirt.
o Sometimes we must haul dirt away and move dirt around (this goes with rough grades and backfilling).
· You will have paperwork to fill out for every job that you go to.
· Flexibility is a must since no two days are ever the same.
· You are responsible for your truck and skid steer.
o Any maintenance or issues need to be addressed with the mechanics and your supervisor.
o You are responsible for fueling up, loading and unloading your skid, fueling up your skid steer, and doing your own inspections and greasing your machine.
Qualifications
· Class A license, minimum.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Previous experience is preferred.
· Ability to follow oral directions.
· Ability to be on the road when necessary.
· Ability to load and unload a trailer efficiently.
· Ability to operate a skid steer, Takeuchi brand, specifically.
· Ability to write legibly.
· Ability to make smart decisions behind the wheel of a company truck and company equipment.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
