Job Responsibilities:
· Effectively communicate with aircraft owners, aircraft operators, and pilots regarding aircraft maintenance cost, schedule, and downtime.
· Communicate all cost and work status changes with customers, consistent with their expectations.
· Provide updates to customers every 24 to 48 hours on project status, cost, or RTS adjustments.
· Coordination of aircraft maintenance projects ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
· Maintain single point of contact for customers and resolve complaints/disputes.
· Accomplish customer in-briefing and out-briefing meetings for applicable work projects.
· Interface daily with Production Manager, and Parts Department to ensure a smooth and efficient project performance.
· Monitor Work Packages for accuracy of content and pricing.
· Review work order after completion of work and complete final invoice.
· Present final invoice to customer and receive payment, when necessary, after job completion.
· Ensure any necessary warranty is approved, invoiced, and credited by appropriate vendor when required.
· Ensure financial revenue targets of the maintenance activities are achieved and reported.
· Monitor staffing levels and make recommendations on needed changes. Participate in interview process for technicians and support staff as necessary.
· Provides recommendation of formal technical training based upon past and future activity.
· Assist in effective scheduling and coordination of internal support services (avionics, sheet metal, NDT, etc.) as required.
· Monitor and periodically report on team performance.
· Assist in aircraft work scheduling, planning and work group capacity management.
· Support efforts of the Quoting and Sales teams in the performance of their duties.
· Monitor safe work practices, environmental compliance and proper housekeeping.
· Verify aircraft is returned to customer clean, complete & in order.
· Develop and implement ways to market and sell maintenance services to potential customers.
· Other duties may be assigned from time to time, as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
· High School graduate or equivalent.
· Airframe and Powerplant license is desired.
· Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations related to maintenance and procedures.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism.
· Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft office suite.
· Detailed working knowledge of CORRIDOR is a strong plus.
· 8 years’ experience supporting aircraft is desired.
· Detailed knowledge of aircraft, manuals, maintenance programs, procedures.
· Prior leadership experience and/or role in business management preferred.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
