Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Exciting opportunities are available for two onsite, part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support students for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role will serve two school sites across the academic year, working collaboratively with educators and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to enhance student outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota SLPA license is required; candidates with pending licensure are not eligible for consideration
- Dual SLPA certification must be clearly visible on the submitted license PDF
- Experience working in school settings and supporting K-12 student populations is preferred
- Ability to work across two sites and manage diverse student caseloads
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Position Details & Responsibilities:
- Serve as a part-time SLPA based onsite at Northdale (0.7 FTE) and Oakdale (0.3 FTE) middle schools
- Contract dates span from approximately August 25, 2026 (district start date) through June 10, 2027, with students beginning September 8, 2026
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours to be determined based on caseload requirements
- Support the delivery of speech-language services under the supervision of licensed SLPs
- Assist students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
- Partner with educators and families to foster positive student communication development
