Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Under CDL Refrigerated Van Driver and Warehouse Associate to become a vital part of our logistics network! This role offers the opportunity to drive a refrigerated van (under 10,000 lbs. GVWR), ensuring timely delivery of temperature-sensitive freight across diverse routes in and out of NYC (Brooklyn) and Philadelphia.
Starting $22.00/hour, clean driving record and experience required.
Responsibilities
- Drive refrigerated vans (10,000 lbs. GVWR), ensuring adherence to all safety and traffic laws/regulations
- Pack and prepare orders for shipping
- Load and unload freight using a pallet jack or manual methods, ensuring proper handling of temperature-sensitive goods
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck to guarantee vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Manage route driving schedules effectively to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safe driving practices
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial under-CDL driving
- Prior delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures and route driving logistics in and out of NYC (Brooklyn) and Philadelphia
- Familiarity with freight handling a forklift is a plus
- Knowledge of trucking regulations, safety standards, and best practices for transporting temperature-sensitive goods
Pay: $22.00 per hour
