Responsibilities
- Conduct routine pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and filter cleaning to ensure safe and clean swimming conditions
- Perform pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming surfaces, and brushing walls to maintain aesthetic appeal and hygiene standards
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators using hand tools and power tools
- Maintain detailed service records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for accountability and future reference
- Assist with opening and closing pools according to safety protocols and seasonal requirements
- Respond promptly to service calls or customer requests for equipment repairs or cleaning issues
- Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair or maintenance tasks
- Prior service technician experience or hands-on work with pool systems is highly preferred
- Familiarity with pool maintenance routines including chemical testing, water chemistry adjustments, and cleaning techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of safety standards related to pool operations and equipment handling
