We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. A team that values your talent and passion!
POSITION SUMMARY: Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipping.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Compare identifying information and count, weigh or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
· Move parts from final inspection to the shipping department with forklift or hand truck as required. (Forklift training will be provided. A valid state driver’s license is required.)
· Verify part or material counts, outgoing and incoming.
· Print out computerized labels.
· Apply shipping labels to packed cartons.
· Load/unload trucks with forklift or hand truck as required.
· Prepare shipments prior to banding of skids.
· Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages and notify Traffic Manager who notifies shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
· Route incoming items to appropriate departments.
· Package parts per customer specifications to prevent damage during shipment.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
· At least 6 months of related work required and/or a high school diploma.
There is no relocation package with this position. The position my be subject to U.S. export control restrictions under International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and could necessitate applying for an export license from the U.S. Government to authorize access. You may be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes and that the information will be reviewed by compliance personnel only to ensure compliance with ITAR and EAR. This offer is contingent on the Company verifying applicable export restrictions and, if necessary, U.S.-person status. The Company may choose not to apply for a license or not to use an available license exception for individuals whose access to export-controlled technology or software source code may require authorization and may decline to proceed with employment on that basis alone.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
