Multiple openings are available to cover maternity leaves from Fall through Spring, offering you the chance to make a significant impact during the academic year.
You’ll work in welcoming elementary schools, either in Fremont/Ballard for 37.5 hours weekly, or Laurelhurst/Sandpoint for 30 hours weekly, supporting two to three schools within your assigned neighborhood cluster.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license for Washington State
- Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Confidence in delivering OT services for children with moderate support needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person occupational therapy services to elementary students
- Assess student abilities and develop targeted treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Document progress, maintain records, and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
