Bennett Schechter Arcuri & Will LLP is hiring a Senior Associate for its insurance defense practice group.
Responsibilities:
- This position involves representation of Fortune 100 and 500 companies, major retail businesses, national transportation carriers, and insurance companies in the defense of litigation claims throughout New York State
- Pre and post-suit investigations
- Appearing at pretrial conferences
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Client reporting
- Drafting pleadings
Qualifications:
- New York State admission
- Candidates must demonstrate an interest in case analysis, and logical reasoning when formulating case strategy
- A willingness to interact with clients, and be involved with on-site inspections and investigations where applicable
- Solid legal research and writing skills are necessary
- Prior trial experience preferred
- Minimum 2-4 years of litigation experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
