Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscaping Lead to spearhead our outdoor beautification and maintenance contracts. This energetic role requires a passionate individual who thrives in supervising teams, managing landscape operations, and delivering exceptional results across diverse outdoor environments. Duties
- Lead and supervise landscaping crews to execute daily tasks including planting, pruning, lawn care, irrigation management, and general maintenance.
- Oversee construction projects related to landscape installation, renovation, and enhancement efforts.
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health of all landscape elements.
- Manage irrigation systems to optimize water efficiency and ensure proper functioning across all landscaped areas.
- Coordinate team schedules, assign tasks effectively, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to uphold safety protocols, environmental standards, and aesthetic objectives.
- Collaborate with clients or project managers to develop landscape plans that align with design visions and budget considerations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong background in plant identification and garden management.
- Supervising experience leading teams on large-scale construction projects or outdoor maintenance initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability in crew management, team leadership, and motivating staff to achieve high-performance standards.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, tree care practices, gardening principles, and general landscape maintenance.
- Construction experience related to outdoor projects including installation of features such as patios, walkways, or water features is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client relations.
