Duties
- Coordinate food presentation and delivery from the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate service
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including plating, garnishing, and portioning to meet quality standards
- Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to relay special requests or dietary needs
- Help manage banquet or large event setups by organizing food stations and ensuring smooth flow of service
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace that adheres to health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Experience with banquet service or event catering is a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate efficiently with team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required
