Duration- 12 months contract with high possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities
Description:
Join our Molecular Imaging team as a Floor Assembly Technician, where you will play a critical role in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced SPECT imaging systems. These systems support clinicians worldwide in delivering accurate diagnoses and improved patient outcomes.
This is a hands-on role ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working with electrical and mechanical systems in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You are responsible for:
- Assembling, integrating, and testing complex electrical and mechanical subsystems.
- Performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Interpreting and following technical documentation, including work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Operating a variety of tools and equipment (e.g., hand tools, power tools, multimeters, test fixtures, lifting equipment).
- Accurately recording test data and communicating findings to cross-functional teams.
- Identifying, documenting, and processing non-conforming materials in accordance with quality standards.
- Collaborating with team members to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Completing required training and certifications within defined timelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly or a related field
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong ability to interpret technical documentation (drawings, procedures, schematics)
- Experience with documentation practices (electronic and/or paper-based)
- Demonstrated attention to detail and willingness to speak up when quality is at risk
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Availability to work 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., mechanical, mechatronics, manufacturing, automotive, engineering technology)
- Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with torque tools (mechanical and digital torque wrenches)
- Experience loading and installing firmware/software on complex systems
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed
