Job Description
A WALNUT CREEK FORD employee must be a self driven, hardworking individual. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in the ability to work efficiently and effectively, to ensure the performance of the service department as a whole. The individual will report directly to the parts manager in the department.
Pay Plans
The Counter Person Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $30.00 and $42.00.

Responsibilities
Parts Counter Person will cater to the specific needs of our internal and external customer ordering needs. Responsible to efficiently and accurately procure parts. This must be done within both dealership and factory requirements.
The ideal parts counter person candidate must be able to determine the correct part for the customer.
Effectively communicate with the designated parts manager or customer to ensure that we order the correct parts.
Ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by parts manager.
Qualifications or Requirements
1-3 years experience as a parts counter person
A valid driver's license
High school diploma / Industry certification equivalent required
*Parts counter person must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position.
