Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Packer who lives in the City of Denton or within 10 minutes of the City of Denton. This job is not a primary source of income. It is best used as supplemental income for days you are available. This role involves assisting with the loading, unloading, packing, and transportation of goods for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills and, willing to learn. This position offers an opportunity to earn cash tips where efficiency and customer satisfaction are top priorities.
Duties
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items safely using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies and team lift.
- Pack, pad and, wrap items when needed to securely transport and prevent damage during moving
- For max pay be able to operate box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission for route driving and deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving supplies and vehicles
- Follow safety protocols during all phases of moving and packing operations
- Assist with driver with route planning and delivery schedules as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally
Experience
- Prior experience in moving or delivery is preferred but not required
- Previous roles involving heavy lifting, manual labor, or physical work are highly desirable
This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to ensure smooth operations and satisfied clients.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
