POSITION TITLE: Tax Specialist (Non – LO –No Consumer Contact)
JOB STATUS: Full Time/Hourly
DEPARTMENT: Property Tax and Insurance Tracking
REPORTS TO: Property Tax and Insurance Tracking Team Lead
WORK SCHEDULE: Hybrid - 4 days in-office, 1 day remote
PAY: The expected hiring range for this position is from $20.39 to $23.99 plus additional bonus opportunity. The stated hiring range is based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Final compensation decisions will take into account a variety of considerations, including individual skills, internal equity, and organizational needs
The Tax Specialist is responsible for ensuring that tax invoices are processed accurately and timely. This role reports to the Property Tax and Insurance Tracking Team Lead and manages a large group of loans assigned by specific states. This role researches, obtains, and processes a variety of tax related correspondence and follows up accordingly. The Tax Specialist plays a crucial role in helping the business make sure tax bills are paid in adherence to the entity required or requested form of payment along with proper documentation.
Property Tax Payment Processing
Processes county required forms such as Assessments, Refunds, Payoffs, Registration, Reallocation of Funds, and Moving Home.
