Who we’re looking for:
Colossal is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Champion Engagement Manager to serve as the primary liaison for all Champions and Finalists throughout their prize experience and beyond. You will lead engagement programs that keep our Champions connected to the Colossal brand, amplify their voices, and encourage ongoing involvement in future campaigns. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building community, is highly organized, and loves supporting individuals in meaningful, visible ways.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Champions and Finalists, ensuring a seamless, personalized experience across every phase of the competition journey, including post-competition communications, prize fulfillment, Legacy Network onboarding, and long-term community engagement.
- Provide on-site support during Champion experiences, anticipating needs, and delivering exceptional hospitality that reflects the Colossal brand.
- Maintain and grow an active and engaged Legacy Network by keeping past Champions informed of company initiatives, opportunities, events, and community updates.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with past Champions and Finalists, keeping them informed and engaged with Colossal’s events, updates, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and PR teams to highlight Champion stories.
- Facilitate media opportunities shared by the PR team by presenting them to Champions, supporting their preparation for interviews or features, and attending appearances as a chaperone or on-site support when needed.
- Lead and facilitate virtual Champion forums through the Legacy Network to connect past champions and encourage ongoing collaboration and engagement.
- Partner with Event Manager to host in-person Champion events that foster meaningful connections within the Legacy Network.
- Keep Champions updated on the launch of campaigns, sharing timelines, key dates (e.g., campaign launches), FAQs, support contacts, and shareable social media assets to help them amplify Colossal's message.
Our ideal candidate has:
- 3+ years of experience in community engagement, hospitality, public relations, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple moving parts and deadlines.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, PR, and operations teams.
- Experience supporting or prepping individuals for media appearances is a plus.
- Passion for storytelling and championing individuals’ successes.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for Champion experiences, media opportunities, events, and community engagement initiatives.
