Pay: $25-$47/hour, depending on experience
Location: Fairfield, CA (deployments throughout California)

We are seeking motivated, dependable, safety-focused professionals to join our seasonal wildfire preparedness and emergency response team.
Position Overview
As a Structure Protection Specialist, you'll play a key role in both emergency wildfire response and day-to-day operations. During wildfire activity, you'll deploy to protect homes and businesses throughout California. Between deployments, you'll assist with equipment maintenance, training, shop operations, vehicle readiness, and wildfire mitigation projects.
This is a full-time seasonal position during California's wildfire season, with the possibility of extension based on fire activity and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Deploy to wildfire incidents throughout California.
- Prepare residential and commercial properties for wildfire.
- Deploy and operate wildfire sprinkler systems.
- Perform structure protection operations.
- Operate fire pumps, hose lays, and suppression equipment.
- Conduct daily equipment and vehicle inspections.
- Maintain PPE and deployment equipment.
- Assist with shop organization, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
- Participate in company training and physical fitness.
- Complete incident reports and equipment documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
Minimum Qualifications
- ICS-100
- L-180
- IS-700
- S-190
- Current S-130/RT-130
- Current Work Capacity Test
- Incident Safety Awareness for Hired Vendors
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- WSPP-115 or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous wildland firefighting experience
- EMT
- CDL
- Engine Boss or higher
- Mechanical aptitude
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 75 lbs.
- Work extended operational periods.
- Walk uneven terrain.
- Work in heat, smoke, and changing weather conditions.
