We are seeking a Lead HVAC Construction Mechanic to join our talented Team. The Lead HVAC Construction Mechanic leading the install crew, reading blueprints, and ensuring the quality of the ductwork installation on commercial construction projects.

Lead a team of sheet metal mechanics and apprentices on daily installation tasks, assigning work based on project requirements.

Review and interpret architectural, structural, and HVAC blueprints to plan ductwork layout, ensuring accuracy.

Mentor and train apprentices and junior mechanics on proper installation techniques, blueprint reading, and safety standards.

Coordinate with other contractors to keep jobs on schedule, reporting progress and mitigating potential delays.

Identify and resolve problems with duct installation, fit, or alignment

Maintain accurate records of completed work, material usage, and daily site reports.
Qualifications
-
Proven experience as a commercial sheet metal lead
-
Expertise with SMACNA standards and HVAC systems.

Maintain and ensure the safe use of all power tools, hand tools, and lifting equipment Valid Driver's License

Clean drug test

Punctual
-
Willing to work hours as needed
