We are hiring Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Floaters for our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. What You'll Do:
As a Teacher at Bright Start Learning Center, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing attentive care, supervision, and engagement for children throughout the day
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate learning activities and classroom routines
- Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, organized classroom environment
- Supporting children's cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development
- Supervising children in accordance with all state licensing and safety requirements
- Assisting with diapering, toileting, feeding, and other daily care routines as needed
- Building positive relationships and communicating professionally with families
- Maintaining attendance records, incident reports, and other required documentation
- Following all center policies, procedures, and Ohio childcare licensing regulations
- Participating in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and assist children, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 35–50 pounds
- Ability to sit on the floor, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, and stand throughout the day
- Ability to actively supervise children indoors and outdoors
- Ability to participate in classroom activities, active play, diapering, feeding, and daily care routines
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations, including evacuations and assisting children when necessary
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
