Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Manicuring Instructor to join our growing academy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care, sanitation, salon safety, and current industry trends, as well as a passion for teaching and inspiring future manicurists.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students in manicuring theory and practical application per California State Board standards
- Demonstrate nail techniques such as acrylics, gels, nail art, and advanced manicuring methods
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation, safety, and disinfection protocols
- Prepare students for written and practical state board exams
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
- Provide mentorship, feedback, and encouragement to help students reach their goals
Qualifications
- Current California Manicurist License (Instructor License preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of salon experience required; teaching experience a plus
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Knowledge of current nail care trends and professional standards
- Passion for education and student success
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time (Monday–Thursday from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm)
