Responsibilities

- Monitor and record patient health information, including vital signs when necessary.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document compliance.
- Engage in activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans tailored to individual needs.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Phlebotomy skills for blood draws and sample collection.
- Dementia care techniques to assist clients with cognitive impairments.
- Critical care experience in high-pressure environments such as hospitals or emergency rooms.
- Familiarity with medical-surgical practices in hospital settings.
- Experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities.
- Knowledge of pediatric care principles when assisting younger patients.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Understanding of hospital medicine protocols for effective patient service delivery.
