We are currently looking for a Certified Phlebotomist Technician (Casual/PRN position - Saturday and Sunday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm) who can perform many tasks, both clinical and clerical. Under the supervision of the laboratory manager, the phlebotomist is responsible for blood collection in an in-patient or out-patient setting. The ideal Phlebotomist candidate will be flexible with what shift they can work should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
The responsibilities of the Phlebotomist include, but are not limited to:
- Processing send out specimens
- Maintaining proper inventory of phlebotomy supplies
- Microbiology specimen set-up as needed
- Working as a Lab Assistant as needed
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification required
- CPR certification required
- Must have a vehicle to commute with
- Hospital setting experience preferred
Casual/PRN position - Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
