United Agricultural Cooperative is seeking dependable students to assist during the busy grain harvest season. This temporary role supports daily grain operations by helping maintain efficient grain receiving, loading, housekeeping, and customer service throughout harvest.
This position is designed for students available during summer break and is expected to begin in June and conclude in August, depending on operational needs and harvest conditions.
Assist with receiving grain deliveries from producers and drivers
Support loading and unloading grain trucks
Maintain cleanliness of grain facilities, work areas, and equipment
Assist with basic operational tasks assigned by management
Provide courteous customer service to producers, drivers, and vendors
Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
Assist with general labor tasks during peak harvest periods
Report safety concerns or operational issues to management immediately
Perform other duties as assigned to support harvest operations
Seasonal assignment beginning approximately June through August
Long hours due to harvest demands, weather conditions, and operational needs
Overtime and weekend work will be required during peak harvest periods
Must be at least 16 years old (or meet legal working age requirements)
Reliable transportation preferred
Ability to work flexible hours
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to work outdoors in heat, dust, and changing weather conditions
Ability to safely work around agricultural equipment and grain facilities
This is a temporary seasonal position and does not guarantee continued employment beyond the harvest season. Employment with United Ag is at-will and may end at any time, with or without notice, consistent with applicable law.
