Transportation Driver / Maintenance Assistant
Essential Job Functions:
- Transport community residents to and from medical appointments, activities and shopping errands using a community-owned vehicle
- Assist residents in getting into and out of the vehicle, carrying packages and opening doors
- Maintain vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with Majestic Rim standards
- Deliver excellent customer service while performing maintenance in apartments and common areas
- Perform preventive maintenance, complete work orders, and assist the Maintenance Director
- Follow procedures for safety, sanitation, and hazard prevention
Qualifications:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Positive attitude with ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Must possess a current state driver's license and have a clean driving record
- Must have proof of personal automobile insurance
- Must have 1 year of maintenance or handyman experience
- Must be able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach, carry, and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
