Maintenance Worker
Mended Reeds Inc. – Boys Residential ages 9 to 18 years old
In a Childcare facility with trained professionals, employed in the role of caregivers you will be supporting this cause by ensuring the faculties' maintenance needs are met and buildings are safe for all that come and go from the facility.
Duties included are as follows:
- maintain confidentiality,
- maintain maintenance logs
- Must meet initial and ongoing childcare hiring and training requirements
- Hourly, 20-30 hours per week, primarily during business hours.
- Must meet all MRI background and employment screenings
- painting,
- drywall repair,
- minor plumbing repair,
- able to lift 50 lbs.,
- lawn equipment maintenance,
- operate power tools
- Maintain facilities repairs as needed effectively and efficiently.
Benefits & requirements
- Pay-rate $16 an hour
- Must demonstrate experience in; painting, drywall repair, minor plumbing repair, able to lift 50 lbs., lawn equipment maintenance, operate power tools
- Must be 21 or older
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Pass New hire Drug-screen and future random screens if employed
- Successful Background results such as but not limited to, FBI/BCI, SACWIS & Sex Offender search
- Available for Flexible Hours/shifts
- Successful Health Screening,
- Valid Driver’s License
- Good Driving record and keep good driving record
- Dependable transportation
- Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
- Basic computer skills
Job Type: Part-time 20-30 hours a week or potential for Full-time
