SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Safely and effectively execute Preventative Maintenance work as scheduled and repair activities as assigned. Follow Priority list unless otherwise directed.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Job Duties: (include but not limited to)
Entry level position that will be performing Machine Repair and Preventative Maintenance on both IBM & SBM Machines
Repair Activities as Assigned
Investigates, Evaluates and Takes Appropriate Action to Maintain Performance of all Equipment Within Manufacturing Facility
EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: 2-3 years-experience in maintenance field
Job Duties: (include but not limited to)
Repair Activities as Assigned
Investigates, Evaluates and Takes Appropriate Action to Maintain Performance of all Equipment Within Manufacturing Facility
Desired Skills:
- General mechanical experience from previous employment or hobbies
- Experience safely using power and hand tools
- Preferred history of working in a Maintenance related capacity
- Preferred experience using electrical test equipment
- Familiarity with wiring methods and materials
- Positive attitude with strong desire to learn new skills and take on additional responsibility
- Ability to work well independently and with others
- All work needs to be performed in a craftsmanship like manner
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to grasp and retain new concepts quickly, take detailed notes as necessary and follow directions
- Interested candidates should possess their own basic hand tools
