Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of driving, including freight, route driving, and delivery services.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks of various sizes and types, including flatbeds, beltbottoms, and refrigerated trailers
- Transport goods and materials over short or long distances
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records
- Ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (or ability to obtain CDL)
- Proven experience in truck driving and handling different types of equipment such as heavy machinery
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for minor maintenance issues on the road
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed
