We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented team member to help keep our store clean, organized, and fully stocked. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to grow with our family business.
Requirements:
- Experience with firearms and industry knowledge is preferred.
- Military background preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and Saturdays.
- Must be able to lift 20-50 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Lead inventory restocking and organization efforts — maintain well-stocked shelves, backroom storage, and display areas to ensure products are always readily available and neatly presented.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments; accurately stock merchandise and update inventory records.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, identify low-stock items, and organize storage areas for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by cleaning, including sweeping, dusting, taking out the trash, etc.
The role will evolve into being able to:
- Operate our point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions as needed.
- Run federal background checks for applicants as required.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits when supporting the sales team.
- Order inventory for the store.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for firearms, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to educate customers on a wide range of products. We are looking for someone to eventually grow into the role of becoming an Operations Manager.
