Pilates Instructor — Fully Certified / Experienced
We are looking for a fully certified, experienced Pilates instructor who is kind, thoughtful, reliable, and confident working with clients in a small, personalized studio setting.
The ideal instructor is not only knowledgeable about Pilates repertoire, but also attentive to each client’s needs, goals, limitations, and learning style. We are looking for someone who can communicate clearly, listen well, offer appropriate modifications, and create a supportive experience for clients at different levels.
This position is a good fit for an instructor who values quality over quantity, teaches with intention, and wants to grow with a studio that emphasizes movement quality, individualized care, and long-term client progress.
Responsibilities
- Teach private, duet, and small-group equipment ( 4ppl max) Pilates sessions
- Create safe, thoughtful, and well-structured sessions based on each client’s needs and goals
- Provide clear verbal cueing, appropriate corrections, and helpful modifications
- Observe clients carefully and adjust exercises as needed for safety, comfort, and progression
- Communicate with clients in a warm, professional, and respectful manner
- May support clients who may be beginners, older adults, post-rehabilitation, or working with movement limitations (or willing to learn)
- Maintain a calm, clean, and organized studio environment
- Communicate with the studio owner regarding client needs, concerns, scheduling, and studio expectations
- Continue learning, growing, and contributing positively to the studio community
Qualifications
- Comprehensive Pilates certification required
- Prior Pilates teaching experience required
- Strong knowledge of Pilates equipment, including Reformer, Tower/Cadillac, Chair, and and small props
- Solid understanding of anatomy, movement mechanics, alignment, and safe exercise modification
- Ability to work with a range of clients and adapt sessions appropriately
- Strong communication skills and a client-centered teaching approach
- Reliable, kind, professional, and open to feedback
- Interest in rehabilitation-focused Pilates, movement science, or long-term movement education preferred
- CPR/AED certification preferred

Schedule
Part-time position available. Specific days and hours can be discussed based on studio needs and instructor availability.
Compensation
Competitive hourly/session-based compensation based on experience and teaching role.
