Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
- Handle chemical agents with strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure effective sanitation without risk to health or environment.
- Maintain cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high sanitation standards.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed or safety hazards observed during routine cleaning duties.
- Use custodial experience to manage waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests or concerns from staff or visitors.
Experience
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care.
- Experience handling chemical agents safely following chemical handling safety procedures.
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or porter roles is advantageous.
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and maintaining a clean environment at all times.
