Job Description: Janitorial Contractor –
Position Type: DAY Part Time, 1099 Contractor
Position Summary
This contractor is responsible for the full daily, weekly, and monthly janitorial upkeep of an assigned retail location in Winston[-Salem, NC], following the Janitorial Checklist and required service schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities
Entrances
- Daily: Wash all window and door glass, interior and exterior up to 8', remove dirt and debris from frames. Vacuum door tracks and mats.
- Weekly: Dust mop then auto scrub vestibule area.
- Monthly: Wash all interior/exterior glass up to 20' in height and wipe down frames.
Grooming Salon
- Daily: Dust mop, wet mop with Virex II, empty trash receptacles.
- Weekly: Scrub grooming salon lobby with a deck brush to remove dirt, soil, and embedded debris.
Sales Floor & Pet Training Area
- Daily: Vacuum under steel and gondolas (one section per day, rotating). Dust mop then auto scrub sales floor, fish floor, and training area.
- Weekly: Detail-scrub fish floor with a deck brush.
Restrooms
- Daily: Dust mop then wet mop with Virex II. Clean and sanitize all fixtures, partitions, and surfaces. Clean, refill, and restock all dispensers and paper products.
- Every Other Week: Scrub restroom grout.
- Monthly: Vacuum, clean, and sanitize all ceiling vents.
Offices, Copy Room, Associate Lounge & Training Room
- Daily: Empty trash receptacles.
- Monthly: Clean out and sanitize refrigerator, sanitize countertops/sinks/microwave/vending machine/window frames, dust and spot-clean walls.
Register Stands
Janitorial Closet
- Daily: Clean and rinse auto scrubber recovery tank, scrubber pad, and mop buckets.
- Weekly: Clean and sanitize sink, floor drain, and walls.
- Monthly: Vacuum entire receiving area perimeter, including under/around steel racking, docks, and doors.
Notes
Completed Janitorial Checklists must be retained on a clipboard in the janitorial closet and made available to Contracted Services upon request. Proper PPE and wet floor caution signage must be used at all times.

Pay: $100.00 - $900.00 per month
