American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN with Level III experience and micro-preemie/high-frequency ventilation skills for a night shift, every-weekend travel contract in New Jersey.

Position is located in a Level III NICU within a hospital setting
-
Patient ratio is 1:2
-
Unit practices couplet care with a dedicated Stork RN on each shift
-
Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
-
Every weekend is required, along with one weekday shift per week
-
Block scheduling is not permitted
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Floating is required within a network of up to 5 hospitals based on staffing needs, within the candidate's skillset
-
Epic EMR experience is preferred
-
13-week contract
-
Active NJ RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications: BLS and NRP

Minimum 2–3 years of NICU experience required
-
Level III NICU experience required
-
Experience with micro-preemies and high-frequency ventilation required

Two current professional references required for consideration

COVID-19 vaccine required, no exemptions

Flu vaccine required, no exemptions

Navy blue scrubs required

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible at a local pay rate

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests submitted after the initial submission will not be accepted

First-time travelers are accepted, though experienced travelers are preferred
