Field Execution and Learning
- Complete routine landscape maintenance tasks as assigned, including mowing,
trimming, edging, blowing, cleanup, and basic bed care.
- Follow crew leader direction closely and complete work the right way, not just
the fast way.
- Learn proper techniques for recurring maintenance tasks and apply coaching in
the field.
- Build speed and consistency without cutting corners on safety or quality.
- Help the crew finish each property clean, complete, and ready for client review.
Safety, Equipment, and Property Protection
- Use PPE where required and work with awareness around traffic, pedestrians,
structures, and plant material.
- Handle tools and equipment properly and report unsafe conditions, damage, or
breakdowns right away.
- Help load, unload, clean, and organize trucks, trailers, and handheld equipment.
- Protect client property and company assets while working on site.
- Stop and ask questions when you are unsure how to complete a task safely.
Reliability and Crew Support
- Arrive on time, prepared for the workday, and ready to contribute.
- Follow the crew’s daily plan and stay engaged throughout the route.
- Accept coaching well and adjust when given direction.
- Support a strong team environment through effort, attitude, and follow-
through.
Help maintain a clean, organized work environment in the field and at the yard.
