Project Engineer - Product Standardization (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead a high-impact product standardization initiative focused on simplifying customer offerings, reducing complexity, and improving operational efficiency across the organization.
This role will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to analyze existing product portfolios, identify standardization opportunities, and develop sustainable frameworks that support long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, a data-driven mindset, and a proven ability to drive process improvement in complex manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on product rationalization and standardization.
- Analyze product and operational data to identify consolidation and efficiency opportunities.
- Develop and implement product standardization frameworks and governance processes.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
- Drive process mapping, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support creation and alignment of manufacturing and assembly documentation.
- Utilize Power BI and analytics tools to support business decision-making and project execution.
- Manage project timelines, stakeholder communication, risks, and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related experience.
- Proven project management experience in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Strong experience with:
- Power BI
- Data Analytics
- Process Mapping
- Process Standardization
- System-Level Design
- Technical Communication
- Experience working with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Commercial stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Assembly Manufacturing experience
- Sheet Metal Manufacturing experience
- Mechanical Engineering background
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience
- Product Rationalization or Product Standardization experience
Work Schedule
- Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
