We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Host / Front Counter Associate to join our team. As the first person our guests interact with, you'll create a welcoming experience while helping keep our restaurant running smoothly. This role includes greeting and seating guests, taking dine-in and takeout orders, processing payments through our Clover POS system, serving beverages, and ensuring guests receive excellent service throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Seat guests and manage the waitlist when needed.
- Take dine-in and takeout orders accurately.
- Process cash and credit card transactions using our Clover POS system.
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with takeout orders and questions.
- Prepare and hand out takeout orders, ensuring all items are accurate and complete.
- Serve beverages to guests in the dining room.
- Keep the front counter, host stand, and dining area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist servers and other team members to provide excellent customer service.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using or learning the Clover POS system (experience is a plus, but training is provided).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time positions available.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
