Position Summary: The Applications/Enterprise Solutions Specialist is responsible for coordinating and conducting applications training to end users, including PACS administrators. Provide sales support along with assisting in the implementation of ScImage software at a client’s facility.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the ScImage software, integration, and implementation.
- Understand the core features of PICOM365 and its ability to be customized for customer needs.
- Conduct applications training for Physicians, Technicians and PACS administrators.
- Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and Software effectiveness.
- Organize and maintain report templates, training procedure manuals, quick reference guides, and course materials to effectively train end users.
- Support ScImage Project Management in all new installations. To include but not limited to: data flow and workflow analysis to include DICOM/HL7 design and implementation.
- Perform routine service, preventative maintenance and modifications of software and equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Work with customer and internal support to help troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Works effectively and efficiently to resolve customer related tickets.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers.
- Prepare and complete the required reports and documents (i.e. Field Maintenance Reports, Teamwork completed tasks, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Update customer information in appropriate locations. (i.e. CSP, SciWiki, etc.)
- During the pre-sales process, you may be involved in the development for the overall design of the solution.
- Operate in a manner consistent with company policies.
- Maintains appropriate databases and history files.
- Participates in the analysis of product performance issues.
- Actively engage and contribute to product development and improvement.
- Effectiveness of efforts to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Work with Sales when required to perform remote or onsite demos.
- Assist in training new Application/Enterprise Solutions Specialist when needed.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to operate independently under diverse work situations with a high degree of complexity.
- Frequent exposure to hospital environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Radiology, Cardiovascular, or Vascular. (Ultrasound and/or Cardiac Cath Lab experience a plus) OR 2+ years of experience supporting or implementing clinical imaging software within a hospital environment.
- Previous Vascular ultrasound experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with HL7, DICOM, HIS, RIS, EMR, PACS, etc.
- Over one year as a trainer or analyst for clinical imaging software preferred.
- Strong background or desire to learn all medical imaging workflows
- Strong background in PACS implementation
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Professional attitude with strong customer relationship skills
- Working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server, SQL Server, and Microsoft Office Applications
- Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Must be able to work both independently and in an established team setting
- Frequent travel required up to 75% of the time.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Education:
- B.S. in Medical Imaging / Imaging Informatics / IT and CIIP & A.S. in clinical field preferred.
