Job Summary
Join our team at ECO of Idaho as a Class A CDL - Tanker Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting non-hazardous liquids across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, combined with your commitment to safety and efficiency, will help keep our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers equipped with tanker trailer across various assigned routes.
- Load and unload liquid freight using proper technique and utilizing a safety first approach.
- Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and other relevant safety standards during every trip.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or unforeseen delays.
- Assist in the load & unload process when necessary.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with tanker trucks, is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently.
- Physical ability to load/unload material; capable of lifting hoses as needed
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols while maintaining high levels of professionalism.
Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
