Duties
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
- Lead and supervise staff training, development, and performance management to foster a motivated and efficient team
- Manage food preparation and kitchen operations to uphold food safety standards and quality control
- Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock control, and coordinate food ordering to minimize waste and control costs
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety policies, and sanitation procedures
- Assist in managing shift schedules, supervising staff during busy hours, and resolving customer concerns promptly
- Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a strong hospitality team
- Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food service management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team leadership capabilities in a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking procedures, and kitchen management practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience required
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within the food industry
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage managerial responsibilities confidently
- Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Basic math skills for order accuracy, inventory counting, and financial reporting
- Commitment to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
