Summary:
As an HVAC Install Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting with installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and other equipment following manufacturer specifications and company requirements.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation projects from start to finish.
- Assisting in installing and connecting ventilation equipment, including ductwork, vents, and piping.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and installations performed.
- Working knowledge of local inspection codes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and access attics/crawlspaces.
- Sheet metal fabrication and installation are a plus.
Requirements:
- Proficient in performing mechanical installation and brazing tasks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
