Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes, resetting tables quickly for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including assisting with plating or organizing supplies in the kitchen
- Provide attentive guest service by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality, communication skills, and guest services at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Knowledge of banquet service, bussing, or catering operations is a plus
- Background in hospitality or hotel service can enhance your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this energetic role
- Prior kitchen or culinary experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
