JOB SUMMARY:
The Shift Maintenance Supervisor will streamline current process by developing internal capabilities to reach highest levels of safety, quality, and productivity within our Maintenance team.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The job summary will be fulfilled through:
- Leading, coaching, directing, and supporting maintenance technicians, tool makers, electricians, skilled and non-skilled associates, across shift.
- Overseeing the on-time completion of machine and facility preventive maintenance
- Plan, schedule, and assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Maintain equipment uptime and reduce production downtime.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and outside contractors.
- Continuously developing the skills and capabilities of department personnel
- Ensure compliance with business system policies and procedures, which include environmental, health, & safety, and published operating standards.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associate’s degree in maintenance or manufacturing technologies or 4 years’ experience working in a technical/ Journeyman environment (preferred)
- 5 years of maintenance experience, with supervisory experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of:
o Mechanical systems
o Electrical systems (motors, PLCs, controls)
o Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Support plant goals for safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
- Proficiency using MS Office products
LOCATION AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This role is based in Lexington, OH and would require minimal to no travel.
