Duties
- Operate various machinery and equipment used in food processing and packaging, adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with the preparation and assembly of food products according to standardized recipes and procedures
- Monitor production lines to ensure consistent quality and compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP standards, and CGMP guidelines
- Conduct sanitation and cleaning of work areas, equipment, and tools to maintain a hygienic environment in accordance with food safety standards
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, portioning, or quality checks during production processes
- Support inventory management by labeling, sorting, and organizing raw materials and finished products
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report maintenance needs promptly
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with food industry manufacturing or food processing plants is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP practices, and food safety standards is highly desirable
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures accurately
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety throughout the production process
- Basic math skills for measurements, conversions, and quality checks
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus; mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues
