Cosmos Salon is seeking an experienced, motivated, and service-driven Manager to support daily operations and help lead our growing team. This position will also help support the front desk of LaVida MedSpa of Mesa next door. The Salon Manager will work with the leadership team to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong operational performance, and seamless day-to-day workflow across all departments, including hair, nails, and spa services.

Position Overview
The Manager plays a key role in supporting front desk operations, guest experience, team accountability, scheduling efficiency, membership management, and overall salon operations. This role requires a strong balance of leadership, customer service, organization, and administrative oversight.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Support
- Support and oversee front desk and guest concierge operations
- Assist with staff coaching, accountability, training, and performance support
- Help maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently upheld
- Assist with schedule coverage and daily operational flow
Guest Experience
- Deliver a luxury-level guest experience from check-in to checkout
- Greet and assist guests with professionalism, warmth, and confidence
- Address guest questions, concerns, and service-related issues promptly and professionally
- Support guests with service recommendations and salon guidance
- Ensure all guest interactions reflect Cosmos Salon’s standards of hospitality and care
Scheduling & Front Desk Operations
- Manage high-volume appointment scheduling accurately and efficiently
- Confirm appointments and monitor daily schedule flow and wait times
- Ensure all guest intake forms and service documentation are completed as needed
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
- Maintain smooth communication between stylists, service providers, guests, and leadership
Sales & Membership Support
- Educate guests on services, retail products, memberships, and promotions
- Support membership growth, retention, and guest loyalty initiatives
- Assist with consultation conversions and rebooking goals
- Conduct follow-up communication with leads and existing guests
- Earn commission opportunities through membership sales and performance contributions
Operations & Administrative Support
- Perform transaction audits and daily operational reviews
- Monitor declined memberships and assist with follow-up
- Ensure services, memberships, retail purchases, and transactions are processed accurately
- Maintain organization of reports, systems, and workflows
- Assist with improving office procedures, protocols, and operational efficiency
- Support light operational tasks including tidying, stocking, and light laundry as needed
Marketing & Guest Engagement
- Help communicate monthly promotions, events, and loyalty programs
- Support guest engagement through calls, texts, and follow-up outreach
- Assist with social media and marketing initiatives when needed
- Monitor guest feedback and online reputation platforms
Qualifications
- 1+ year of leadership, management, or supervisory experience
- 1+ year of customer service or front desk experience in a client-facing environment
- 1+ year of salon, spa, or beauty industry experience preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills in person, by phone, text, and email
- Comfortable using scheduling systems, POS systems, and digital tools
- Experience with Mangomint, Mindbody, or similar software preferred
- Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Must be 18 years or older
