Manage export compliance activities in alignment with applicable U.S. regulations, including:
U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
U.S. Customs regulations
Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements
Classify products, components, and technical data in accordance with EAR and ITAR guidelines.
Prepare, review, and validate export documentation such as:
Commercial invoices
Shipper's Export Declarations (SED/EEI)
Bills of lading
Certificates of origin
Coordinate export license applications and ensure adherence to license provisos and conditions.
Perform restricted party screenings and maintain audit-ready compliance records.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, contracts, and program management teams to ensure compliant international shipments.
Support internal and external compliance audits and regulatory reviews.
Maintain export documentation in accordance with regulatory record retention requirements.
Deliver guidance and training to internal stakeholders on trade compliance policies and procedures.
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential export compliance risks.
