For nearly four decades, Philip L. Liberatore, CPA, a mid-size professional tax and accounting firm located in Cerritos, CA, has been dedicated to providing tax, accounting, financial statement and consulting services to small businesses, large corporations, and individuals.
We're currently seeking a detail-oriented, proactive team player with 3+ years of recent CPA firm experience to prepare tax engagements ensuring clients' tax affairs are managed efficiently and in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Tax Services – Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, non-profit and trust & estate tax returns.
- Tax Planning Services – Complete tax research, projections and analysis.
- Client Services – Interview clients while building professional relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, a Plus
- 3+ years of recent CPA firm experience in tax preparation experience
- CPA license a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude with strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, and PC skills including MS Office and tax software proficiency
- Attention to detail with the ability to professionally prepare engagements, effectively interact with clients and staff at all levels and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
