This position is available at multiple elementary, middle, and high schools, with full-time roles (up to 37.5 hours per week) and part-time schedules to suit your availability. Collaborate with supportive professionals as you help children achieve their communication goals in engaging, varied educational environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology is required
- Active Florida teacher certification and/or FL DOH SLP license
- Completion of fingerprinting and credentialing as required by Florida regulations (with streamlined transfer options for prior prints)
- School-based SLP experience preferred, though all dedicated clinicians with a passion for working with children are encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students of varying ages and needs
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with district and state standards
- Travel between assigned campuses as necessary (assignments may be combined to reach full-time hours)
