American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology Infusion Clinic position requiring current chemotherapy certification and at least 1 year of outpatient infusion experience.

Work in an outpatient oncology infusion clinic setting
-
Care for adult patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments
-
Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, totaling 40 hours weekly
-
Active RN license (Oklahoma State or multistate compact/eNLC) currently in hand
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association

Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)

ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required

Minimum of 1 year of outpatient infusion and chemotherapy administration experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and techniques

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Administer chemotherapy drugs and other medications via PO, SC, and IV routes as ordered by physicians

Assist physicians during minor diagnostic procedures and conscious sedation cases

Monitor and document patient physiological data and responses to treatment

Provide chemotherapy-related patient and family education
-
Coordinate patient follow-up care, including referrals and post-visit phone triage

Delegate tasks to support staff as needed

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position

Compliance documentation must be completed promptly, as the facility strictly enforces onboarding deadlines and does not allow push starts
