Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Mix and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash accurately
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar, tables, and food prep zones
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing time efficiently
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in the food industry
- Previous experience with fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
